Mahayana
While I applaud your bravery, and indeed most of what you recently wrote about Tantra in the Mahayana, there are (self-nominated) “Hinayana Tantra” traditions in and around Nepal and other areas - I met some of them! (20040302 (talk))
::Indeed, there is also an entire Esoteric Theravada tradition. However, this is not relevant to that article since that article is specifically about Mahayana. ☸Javierfv1212☸

Brahmi
Thank you for your diligent additions to Buddhist topics.
I would like to bring up that using Brahmi in many of these pages (ex. Sarvastivada) makes for a very strange reading experience. Given your argument that Buddhists did not historically use Devanagari, one could just as easily argue for the use of Siddham, Kharosthi, and so on. Wikipedia is directed towards contemporary readers, not ancient Buddhists, and using an entirely dead script in the first paragraph when contemporary alternatives are available is unconventional, to say the least. Otherwise, pages on ancient China would have to provide text in seal or oracle bone script!
If feasible, I urge reverting the Brahmi in these pages back to Devanagari. VegetableTempura (talk) 22:21, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
:As to Brahmi, perhaps you are right, but in this case then, IAST should suffice. Devanagari is not necessary. Javier F.V. 11:21, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
