Hi @Juand.1974, thanks for your recent contributions to the Tango in the Night page. I noticed that you don't use the standard citation style common on Wikipedia, so I thought I'd share a link with you that goes through the correct markup: Wikipedia:Citing sources. Please check it out. Cheers! Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 14:11, 16 August 2024 (UTC)

Touring question solved
A few days ago, I reached out to Todd Sharp to ask about the status of Stephen Bruton, and I just received a response from him today. He essentially confirmed what we already knew: Burnette did indeed play at one show in Los Angeles, although once the tour was arranged, his own recording obligations prevented him from joining, so Bruton came on board instead. He did not say if Bruton was ever considered for the studio sessions, but I am still satisfied with his response. Dobbyelf62 (talk) 02:10, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
:That's great to hear, it helps us confirm a bunch of what we found. It's a shame we can't be sure about Bruton's consideration for the band, but it's mostly a small detail. Maybe one day in the future we'll know. He seems like a really chill guy. Thanks for reaching out to him! Juand.1974 (talk) 04:22, 9 January 2025 (UTC)
ABBA
Hey, to avoid edit warring, I'll post at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Albums at some point today, as we disagree about the interpretation of this policy. Cheers. Caro7200 (talk) 19:43, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
Christine McVie GA Nomination
With the article for Christine McVie's 1984 self-titled album essentially complete, I was curious if we should nominate it for good article status. The criteria for this status, which is contained here, should give you general idea of what reviewers are looking for. Personally, I would agree that the article fulfills all six checkmarks, but seeing that we both contributed significantly toward the development of this article, neither of us are eligible to review it. Instead, another editor with no connection to the article will eventually take up the responsibility.
During the process, the reviewer might provide some feedback on any outstanding issues that may need to be resolved, which can be responded to and remedied before the review process elapses, which usually occurs no later than seven days after the GA process is initiated. Seeing that we put a great deal of effort into this article, I think it's worthwhile to nominate it for GA status. What are your thoughts? Dobbyelf62 (talk) 04:47, 26 January 2025 (UTC)
:I think we absolutely could. I had added a bunch of references for the lead but reading [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=MOS:LEADCITE&redirect=no MOS:LEADCITE], I think we could remove a good amount. That way it might be less confusing and the references will be more appropriately numbered. My only worry is that a lot of the sources come from websites that "republish" the original material, like the press kit. But I hope it won't be a problem.
:If you'd like you can be the one to nominate it. I'll be sure to be involved and present for when the review starts. Juand.1974 (talk) 05:16, 26 January 2025 (UTC)
::Done. A bot will eventually add the article to the GA nominations page. There appears to be a bit of a backlog, so it might take a bit for someone to take up the review process. Assuming that I can find a large block of time to review a different album on this list, I may try to reduce the backlog slightly.
For the Christine McVie album, I can provide some additional guidance and assistance if necessary once some suggestions and comments are brought to our attention. Dobbyelf62 (talk) 22:47, 26 January 2025 (UTC)
:Alright, thank you! Let's hope everything goes well :) Juand.1974 (talk) 00:19, 27 January 2025 (UTC)
[[Wikipedia:Proposed deletion|Proposed deletion]] of [[:File:A Fine Mess soundtrack album cover.webp]]
The file :File:A Fine Mess soundtrack album cover.webp has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-free album cover being used in a decorative manner in :A Fine Mess (film)#Soundtrack. Non-free album cover art is generally allowed to be used for primary identification purposes in stand-alone articles about albums, but its use in other articles is generally only allowed when the cover art itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary as explained in :WP:NFC#cite_note-3 and the context for non-free use required by :WP:NFCC#8 is evident. There is no such commentary for this particular album cover anywhere in the article, and the use of soundtrack album cover art in articles about films or TV programs is generally not allowed for this reason as explained in :WP:FILMSCORE and :MOS:TVPRODUCTION.In addition to the above, this file's non-free use also fail :Wp:NFCC#3a since its pretty the same as :File:Finemessposter.jpg being used for primary identification purposes in the main infobox for primary identification of the film itself.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:23, 6 February 2025 (UTC)
"Eponymous" album
Please don't add "eponymous" to album articles, as you did [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Christine_McVie_(album)&diff=next&oldid=1267874668 here]. It's redundant and poor writing. The title of the album and the artist are in the first sentence. That's all that is needed. Readers don't need to be told that they're the same. Read WP:TITULAR. Thanks. Dune soundtrack
As should be clear, the listing of the alternate version does not simply "repeat tracks already stated in the original track list". They are presented in a completely different order and under different titles. This makes it *not* "indiscriminate". Had they simply been bonus tracks tacked on the end of the original track listing, yes, I would agree. But it is a fundamentally different track listing, so should be listed in full.128.151.71.8 (talk) 19:10, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
:It would still be an unnecessary repetition of already stated information. It clutters the article and it is its main focus. If a person would like to see the track list for the CD re-release and its order, they could refer themselves to the album's Discogs page. Stating the unreleased tracks is sufficient. They are also not presented under different titles, since the CD's liner notes themselves note which were the previously unreleased tracks. These are placed between the ones already included on the original album.
:See Wikipedia:ALTTRACKLIST. Juand.1974 (talk) 22:21, 11 March 2025 (UTC)
