[[2025 FIBA Under-19 Women's Basketball World Cup]]
I found the "Final standing" item repeated twice, forcing me to delete one item to avoid duplication. Mohammed07102007 (talk) 08:07, 22 February 2025 (UTC)
:{{Ping|Mohammed07102007}} Shame on me, my bad and sorry. Fixed it. Kante4 (talk) 08:45, 22 February 2025 (UTC)

[[Wikipedia:Proposed deletion|Proposed deletion]] of [[:2015 World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships – Men's mass start]]
The article :2015 World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships – Men's mass start has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
We aren't a database, and shouldn't keep every single table of sports results unless RSes have interest in the events in question.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. JayCubby 14:04, 21 March 2025 (UTC)
Women's team USA at the next two WC's
Hey Kante
We added the women's USA team with wildcards too the next two WC's because of LA28.
It looks like this is not 100% certain because there is a phrase from the IHF meeting "...provided that the USA national teams have reached a certain performance level."
John Ryan an expert of USA handball doubts that the USA receives the wildcard. Please read https://teamhandballnews.com/2025/04/usa-wild-card-for-2025-ihf-womens-world-championships-now-in-doubt/
I think we should adjust the pages. 🤾♂️ Malo95 (talk) 13:40, 13 April 2025 (UTC)
:{{Ping|Malo95}} Hmmm... we can A) leave it as it is and wait for anything offical, B) remove the US and leave the WC blank or C) leave WC blank but add a note next to the wildcard that the US was planned to have it but the status is unknown with the link you sent here. Kante4 (talk) 13:43, 13 April 2025 (UTC)
::I would go with option C. 🤾♂️ Malo95 (talk) 14:00, 13 April 2025 (UTC)
:::{{Ping|Malo95}} Yeah, same (or you have another option?). From my point you can go ahead and add it. Kante4 (talk) 14:14, 13 April 2025 (UTC)
Lower Rhine Cup
I don't see any reason to omit this cup from the career statistics table. It's a notable cup for senior players, and also acts as a qualifier for the DFP-Pokal. Nehme1499 13:28, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
:{{Ping|Nehme1499}} I get what you are saying but i never saw it or added it to any player from Duisburg. And i remember there was one instance (not 100% sure) where it was removed but not sure where and when it was (a while back). Looking at a few players randomly at :Category:3. Liga players and :Category:Regionalliga players it is rarely added (just saw 2 out of ~50). Seems like there is no consistency if it is added or now... That leaves us in a dilemma. Kante4 (talk) 15:02, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
::I mean, just because it hasn't been added to other players doesn't stop us from adding it. It's still part of the senior club career of the player(s). Nehme1499 15:04, 18 April 2025 (UTC)
:::{{Ping|Nehme1499}} I don't say i disagree, just follow what i "witnessed" over the years and trying to get it as consistent as much (if possible). Kante4 (talk) 15:05, 18 April 2025 (UTC)

iihf attendance
I started just using the [https://stats.iihf.com/hydra/905/IHM905000_84_14_0.pdf 'team statistics'] pdf for the tournament total attendance in the junior tournaments. Seems easier and less likely to have an error than adding each one. What do you think?18abruce (talk) 22:10, 12 May 2025 (UTC)
:{{Ping|18abruce}} Never knew about that document before but yeah, easier to use it. Kante4 (talk) 07:04, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
Huijsen
Hey! I think it's worth mentioning the transfer of the next season's page, since he's joining the club only for the CWC (in context of the 2024-25 season). Leprazoori (talk) 10:47, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
:@Kante4 i think we will cover it on the 2024-25 season page, it makes the most sense for me. Leprazoori (talk) 10:59, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
:{{Ping|Leprazoori}} Hey, yeah i can get behind that, it's so confusing the the CWC. Do we cover the whole thing on the 2024-25 page or split it in half? Or move the whole thing to 25-26 as there is an extra transfer window before. Tbh, i don't know. Kante4 (talk)
::{{Ping|Leprazoori}} Yeah, either 2024 or 2025 page, no split up but in favour of 2024. Kante4 (talk) 11:06, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
::I agree with 2024-25. Leprazoori (talk) 11:08, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
iihf playoffs
if canada gets blown out by slovakia, and slovakia beats finland in ot. then latvia wins their last two games then canada could be 5th in tie-breaker with svk and lat. I think.18abruce (talk) 12:51, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
:{{Ping|18abruce}} Once again, you are correct (reverted in shame). Kante4 (talk) 12:54, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
::Sure, but how many names do I still get wrong? There is a good reason I wait to see if you are doing game summaries first.18abruce (talk) 13:05, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
:::{{Ping|18abruce}} That's easy work and no issue (btw you can do those right now if you want, i need some more minutes before able to). Kante4 (talk) 13:06, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
::::I noticed something in the official schedule that I have never seen before: "Note 1: SWE and DEN cannot be paired in QF". It is plausible for SWE to be group A 1st and Denmark (if they beat Germany, no offense I hope) to be 4th group B. What do you think they would do?18abruce (talk) 20:01, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
:::::{{Ping|18abruce}} I wrote about that in the Playoffs article. They would play inside the groups. Kante4 (talk) 20:10, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
::::::Oh I see. I guess that almost happened in 2023 Finland/Latvia and it was explained in that document in full. Thanks.18abruce (talk) 20:15, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
:::::::{{Ping|18abruce}} Yeah not a fan about that rule but can understand it (now hopefully GER wins against DEN). Kante4 (talk) 06:19, 18 May 2025 (UTC)
Live updates
Hi, I'd like to ask regarding the rollback of my edits of the CZE vs KAZ match which occured right after the 1st period, more specifically, what can I do so that this doesn't happen in the future. I like to update the matches as soon as the IIHF summary is released. Does the MIP template require more frequent updates? 93.153.10.112 (talk) 17:03, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
:{{Ping|93.153.10.112}} Live updates should not be made at wiki, see WP:LIVESCORES, it's not a news site. That template was used years ago when it was different but now it's not needed anymore. Kante4 (talk) 17:20, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
::Understood. Perhaps it would've been helpful adding this note into the template's documentation, especially because one of the examples provided is for the ice hockey box template. 93.153.10.112 (talk) 17:25, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
:::{{Ping|93.153.10.112}} An alternate strategy would be to register an account to edit under and use your own 'sandbox' during the game. That way you can edit the details as you go, then just move the summary over to mainspace when the game is done. Just a thought.18abruce (talk) 19:58, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
russia
I found [https://sportacentrs.com/hokejs/izlases/23052025-saprata_balss_gust_virsroku_milanas_os_ho this], which I do not believe is confirmed yet. Twitter is saying yet to be confirmed but likely to be announced today. I suggest waiting still, but maybe not worth fighting if it gets changed again.18abruce (talk) 17:48, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
:{{Ping|18abruce}} I just hate it when editors put something up without a source and even revert and still not adding a source. But yeah, i get you and should leave it when it gets changed again. Kante4 (talk) 18:02, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
::I hate it too, there are enough IPs out there who just change things based on nothing, just to see what happens. And get the details wrong anyway. It is still "reportedly" and "pending official announcement" so it bugs me still, but not enough to fight it.18abruce (talk) 18:33, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
:::{{Ping|18abruce}} Yup, nothing we can do about it. Kante4 (talk) 18:50, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
