Some pages, such as highly visible templates, are fully-protected, meaning that only administrators can edit them. - Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the [https://tools.wmflabs.org/makeref/ citation generator], click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
, copy the whole thing).{{cite web | .... }} - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
}}==References==

GBurl
Please stop replacing Google Books URLs inside citation templates with {{tlx|GBurl}}. That template is not at all designed for use inside such templates, [Edit: Unlike any other "URL encapsulation" utility template, this one's documentation actually does suggest using it inside cite templates! FFS.] and doing that is not even slightly helpful. All it does is greatly impede the ability of editors to fact-check our articles by "hiding" the URLs, while at the time time increasing the template/transclusion count and parser load on the article page. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 19:17, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
:@SMcCandlish I made just one edit, which involved replacing Google Books URLs within citation templates with {{tl|GBurl}}. Following your reasoning, why didn't you consider nominating this template for deletion? Kpratter (talk) 19:23, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
::Oh, I have. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ 😼 19:31, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
:::After revisiting your arguments, I have finally decided to support deletion as well. Kpratter (talk) 07:49, 18 September 2023 (UTC)

Hi. Please note that due to WP:GS/RUSUKR, as you are not extended confirmed (<500 edits), you are unable to make edits to articles with content about Russia-Ukraine war (broadly construed). Thanks. Mellk (talk) 13:36, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
:@Mellk Hello! OK, got it. Kpratter (talk) 13:37, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
Administrative divisions of Russia
You emptied the category out of process. On top of it, I am not sure you understand the difference between municipal and administrative divisions. Please revert everything back (including Wikidata) and start discussions. Ymblanter (talk) 18:59, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
:{{done}}. I am aware of the difference between municipal and administrative divisions in Russia. I'm still not sure that separate {{cat|Administrative divisions of Russia}} is needed. For example many of {{cat|Districts of Russia}} describe both administrative division and municipal division in the same article. @Ymblanter Kpratter (talk) 07:09, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
::Thank you. WP:CFD is the way to solve these issues. Ymblanter (talk) 07:12, 3 October 2023 (UTC)
