undoing

I undid [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Autism&diff=prev&oldid=1241095780 your edit] it was too bold, it's fine you live you learn, I did the same thing last week [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Autism&diff=prev&oldid=1238920732 see]. maybe I will goto the talk page and ask to re-add the image I wanted. maybe. You are invited to join talk pages to talk about things, its fun. Anthony2106 (talk) 11:28, 19 August 2024 (UTC)

:Unlike on your edit message, I appreciate your tone here. I've made another talk point you're very welcome to reply to LachlanTheUmUlGiTurtle (talk) 12:07, 19 August 2024 (UTC)

::I undid your edit again to invoke the bold, revert, discuss cycle. As another editor opposing this image and supporting the infinity symbol, I'm afraid your "only one other supports this" argument does not hold up, and in any case that is not how consensus is determined.--Jasper Deng (talk) 22:23, 19 August 2024 (UTC)

:::Misrepresentive quote is not appreciated. I said that only one other on the talk page supported it prior to their edit. LachlanTheUmUlGiTurtle (talk) 07:59, 20 August 2024 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics

{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{tl|Ctopics/aware}} template.
