Duo Caron
Hello, Likeabluesun
I read the article about Duo Caron for the first time today - I'm not sure if I've even read all the parts yet - and though it's a nicely done article, it made me think "What's happened here?".
When I look closer, I see that you are one of the main contributors and editors on the article, and you are their photographer (or at least you took very well-composed and well-shot pictures for them, many years apart), and that almost every contribution you've made on Wikipedia, over many years, has been to this one article. (Even when contributing to other articles, you've sometimes mentioned Duo Caron.)
You don't seem to have written anything about having a conflict of interest regarding Duo Caron, but it appears as if you might. (Please note that conflict of interest on Wikipedia often exists even when unpaid; being closely associated with them in an unofficial way is enough. Doing almost all of your work on just one article, for many years, is likely enough to show you have a close association.)
Please read WP:COIE to find the best ways to handle this kind of situation. I'm not an expert on the rules, but I think the most important parts are (1) permanently stop working on the Duo Caron article, and (2) place a notice on your own user page explaining that you have this conflict of interest. You would still be able to contribute information on Duo Caron, but only by making suggestions or requests – then waiting for other ordinary editors to decide what to write (or not).
