Deletion discussion about [[List of Nicaraguan film historians]]
Hello, Lisdip1,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether List of Nicaraguan film historians should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Nicaraguan film historians .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
the writer cat
Okay then-say it here then: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Nicaraguan film historians
Also-on the category page you made-you can blank it as well if you want. Wgolf (talk) 02:59, 28 April 2014 (UTC)
Category:List of Nicaraguan Film Historians
:Category:List of Nicaraguan Film Historians, which you created, has been nominated for possible deletion, merging, or renaming. Wgolf (talk) 03:00, 28 April 2014 (UTC)
Okay I deleted that cat from her page-hopefully that will work. Also put your comment on the link I put earlier. Wgolf (talk) 03:05, 28 April 2014 (UTC)
Removing AfD template
File:Information.svg Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with :List of Nicaraguan film historians. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about {{diff|List of Nicaraguan film historians|prev|606137648|this edit}}, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot I NotifyOnline 06:00, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

Hi, and thanks for your work on the English Wikipedia.
I noticed [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Karly_Gaitán_Morales&diff=607438678&oldid=606589409 an article] you worked on. Just a short note to point out that we don’t normally link:
- dates
- years
- commonly known geographical terms (including well-known country-names), and
- common terms you’d look up in a dictionary (unless significantly technical).
This applies to infoboxes, too.
Thanks, and my best wishes.
Florence Jaugey
Thanks for your work on Florence Jaugey - and all the thank yous that you sent.
I thought I'd summarize just a couple of points here:
- Citations
source info go after the content that is covered by the source. It also goes after any punctuation, like commas, periods, etc. - I tagged one of the sections with a Copy-paste tag because the content was a direct copy from the source, which is copyright enfringement.
- There's a cool way to roll up citations when the source is used multiple times in the article, see WP:Ref name and the examples now within the article.
Happy contributing!--CaroleHenson (talk) 16:18, 19 May 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for June 10
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rossana Lacayo, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Producer (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Invitation
Have you heard of the Kaffeeklatsch? It is a test area for women to hear and support each other. The idea came about as a result of a [https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants_talk:IdeaLab/WikiProject_Women#best_practice? discussion] at meta regarding my IdeaLab proposal (yet open) for [https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:IdeaLab/WikiProject_Women WikiProject Women].
Now that the klatsch has survived an MfD and WMF legal has said that it does not violate the non discrimination policy,[https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Miscellany_for_deletion/User:Lightbreather/Kaffeeklatsch&diff=645982224&oldid=645977806] I am looking for women editors who might like to join.
Although I have started a couple of discussions, they are not urgent. For now, the "Please introduce yourself" discussion is more important! I want to take it slow at first and build a small group before trying to address heavy topics or come up with big goals. For now, the klatsch is there as a sort of refuge. I hope you will consider joining, and invite other women editors, too, if you wish. Lightbreather (talk) 22:52, 11 February 2015 (UTC)

File:Information.svg Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to :Karly Gaitán Morales. I noticed that you added an image to the article's infobox as a thumbnail. In future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox, as this is against the Manual of Style. When adding an image, supply only the filename to the {{para|image}} parameter and the caption to the {{para|caption}} parameter instead. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using; please consult the Template page for the infobox being used on that page for proper instructions and documentation. File:Information.svg Hello, I'm Tollens. I noticed that you recently removed content from :JohnBob Carlos without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
