  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. 25px Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. RandomTime 11:16, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

"This is my page"

Hello, whilst you are allowed to make a page about yourself, it has to be your userpage - you are not allowed to create articles about yourself on wikipedia, as wikipedia is an encyclopedia and articles have to have some degree of notability in order to be created. If you want a page about yourself, feel free to create User:LouieGriffin - creating a page in the main namespace (where all the other content) will mean that the page is deleted. Sorry if you misunderstood anything. RandomTime 11:26, 18 October 2009 (UTC)

[[Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion|Speedy deletion]] nomination of [[:Mr Louie Griffin]]

Image:Ambox warning_pn.svg A tag has been placed on :Mr Louie Griffin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{tl|hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 05:15, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

February 2010

25px Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with :Mr Louie Griffin. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. Suffusion of Yellow (talk) 05:27, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on :Mr Louie Griffin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{tl|hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. AlexHOUSE (talk) 20:20, 2 February 2010 (UTC)

Your user page

Hi Louie. Your user page is, well, a user page. You are given quite a bit of freedom to include what you want on that page but only within some limits. You are already stretching the limits because the page is easy to confuse with an actual article and because the content is completely unrelated to the project (not to mention misleading in the case of your net worth for instance). Whatever edits you make to that page, do not add it to categories reserved for actual articles. I will revert this systematically (as I just did). I will also revert (as I just did) your attempts to add your name to various articles and I'm sure you understand why this is not acceptable and consequently annoying for those who have to clean this up. Cheers, Pichpich (talk) 21:56, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. The Elves Of Dunsimore (talk) 05:58, 11 May 2011 (UTC)

Image:Stop x nuvola.svg You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistent disruptive editing. You have created vanity articles on yourself five times over a period of nearly two and a half years. While the first time may have been due to a misunderstanding about the nature of Wikipedia, that has clearly not been the case recently. Other than that, your edits have consisted of vandalising another user's user page, adding potentially offensive and unsourced claims about a living person to an article, and repeatedly adding vanity statements about yourself to an article, some of them certainly untrue, and none of them of encyclopaedic significance. You clearly have no intention of making constructive contributions to the encyclopaedia. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{tlx|unblock|2=reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
