:Malin the railfan is not trying to get into a move war; he is just trying to change the title of UGL Rail C44aci to GE C44ACi. First of all, the C44ACi is a GE model, not a UGL Rail model. Please stop moving locomotive pages en masse without discussion first (see WP:RM for guidance), the usual convention is that the name uses the original owner or original builder, not its current owner or current builder. Hi Malin the railfan, I appreciate your reasonable position that EMD should be part of the title. In a discussion held at the talk page, Talk:Downer EDI Rail GT46C ACe#Requested_move_30_April_2025, two editors took the position that the title with only Downer EDI Rail makes more sense consistent with convention on other articles. After the discussion was for open a week, I closed it, as a neutral and uninvolved editor, finding that Downer EDI Rail GT46C ACe has consensus at this time.

If you would like more time to continue the discussion and try to build support toward your position, let me know. I will be inclined to reopen the discussion if requested.
