Wikipedia is first and foremost an encyclopedia that disseminates free knowledge to the public. Wikipedia is also a collaborative project where individuals volunteer their time to improve the encyclopedia, specifically its content and operation. Naturally, in settings where humans interact, disputes will arise and mistakes will be made along the way. In this carnivalesque atmosphere, it is up to each individual to best enjoy their time without infringing on anybody else's enjoyment of the encyclopedia. Be open to criticism (good or bad), maintain respect, always, and know when to seek assistance. If somewhere along the way you make a mistake, as we all do, remember to learn from past errors, become a better person at present, and move on to an even greater future—love yourself, be courteous, laugh a little.
