Most Wikipedians would prefer to just work on articles of their own interest. But if you have some free time to spare, here are some open tasks that you may want to help out :

right RC Patrol - Keeping a lookout for vandalism. Cleanup - Help make unreadable articles readable. Requests - Wanted on WP, but hasn't been created. Merge - Combining duplicate articles into one. Wikiprojects - So many to join, so many to choose from...Take your pick!

Hey, I noticed you've been removing links to MobyGames pages from articles recently; is there a discussion you can point me to which states that MobyGames links aren't permitted on Wikipedia? I'm asking because, though I haven't added any such links myself, I consider MobyGames to be a relatively useful database with some content one couldn't find anywhere else; therefore, I think the references to the site should be retained or restored in their respective articles. :Ok, I shall stop the editing and continue the discussion, though please bear in mind that the majority of the links that I have removed have very little to add to the articles. ::Thanks for providing a link to the ongoing discussion; it seems the issue is more complicated than I had considered it to be. My take on the matter is this - if a link to MobyGames is included:

::#without the editor having given it much thought,

::#in a case where the game or version in question is so obscure as to have almost no information listed,

::#for every single version that was ever available on the market (this applies when there were numerous versions, of course),

::it should be removed. However, I also consider cover/screenshot galleries and trivia pages to be both useful and informative, especially when the article in question is a stub several sentences long. Also, I think we should take into account the fact that MobyGames is frequently used as a reference; therefore, should the content of the article be similar to that of the MobyGames page, it's fathomable that such a link could be included. That said, it is definitely not right to randomly insert MG links into every game article in existence. Some of the games – primarily adventure games – whose articles are on my watchlist have, if I'm not mistaken, quite helpful MobyGames pages, which is why I reacted in the first place. Finally, in a day or two, I'll check the MG entries for the games on my watchlist to see and decide whether they have a sufficient amount of information for inclusion in the article. Why do you remove the MobyGames links without replying to me on Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Video_games#MobyGames_policy? Picking three examples from your latest contributions Inca (video game), Wayne's World (game) and Ugh! reveals that those MobyGames pages contains indeed more information than the article itself. :First of all I apologise for not replying to you before doing the edits, I did not realise that you were strongly against the edits. Maybe some of the links I edited out do contain more information than the article, such as the one you've pointed out, however a majority of them don't. I have only edited out the links that you have put in, and you must concede that alot of the links you've added you've just added without checking on the content of the link.
