While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments belong on the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and may respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Disclosure is mandatory, and the best way to do it is on your user page. You entered into a legally-enforceable agreement to make this disclosure when you created your account on Wikipedia. Do this before you make any further edits.
After you have done that, you may use Wikipedia:Edit Request Wizard/Paid to propose changes to the article.
You should not remove that template from your user page. Even if you move on to other things on Wikipedia, the fact remains that you were paid to work on one thing.
