Your Help desk question
Thanks for the message on my talk page. I answered your Help desk question here: Wikipedia:Help desk#Someone deleted our link. – ukexpat (talk) 04:19, 10 January 2009 (UTC)
:When editors sign their posts (should not be done in articles) it usually automatically creates a link to their user talk page where they can be contacted, for example User talk:Ukexpat or User talk:PrimeHunter. But the displayed text for the link is normally just "talk". Regarding [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Help_desk&diff=prev&oldid=263157316], a barnstar can be awarded by creating a new section on the users talk page and add wikicode for the barnstar, for example copied from the "What to type" column at Wikipedia:Barnstars with message replaced by a personal message.
