Hi your recent edits to the sri lankan civil war intro page, has removed almost all the references, even from the text that you preserved from the previous intro. This is a very heated and controversial article and has gone thought countless heated arguments and debates. Removing the sources is not a good idea, as most of the content of the intro can now be removed with a claim of "removing unsourced information". :@Oz346 To my knowledge, removing sources here shouldn't be a problem, as the introduction is meant to reflect information which is found in the rest of the article, which should be sourced. See Tony Blair or World War II, for example. The lead shouldn't introduce information only found in the lead, and, as such, sources are a better fit in parts of the article where the content actually originates from - at least, that's how I've always considered it.

:GoodDay, I don't believe there's a need to build a consensus individually per article - especially it's reflected in the infobox (on visual editor) to "only use [birth_name] if different from name". As these aren't pseudonyms nor do they differ from the subject's most well-known name (except in certain cases, such as Bill Clinton), my point of view is that such edits are simply following that which the infobox creators intended for birth_name to be used for. :I haven't taken any information from other Wikipedias for Efimov's page. The sources are as stated in the page; Chesno, LB, and the Central Election Commission. I believe these sources are also used on Ukrainian Wikipedia for People's Deputies (and if so, entirely fairly given they contain a great deal of information about the subject), but beyond that, any similarities on Efimov's page are coincidental and based purely on the sources I used. Hopefully this clears up any confusion.

Since you are interested in Bukharian Jewish history, you might want to check out the materials in the national library of Uzbekistan ( https://press.natlib.uz/ru/publications ). Just a heads up though, Oʻzbekiston milliy ensiklopediyasi has a lot of incorrect dates for things, so it is better to rely on newspapers for birth and death dates instead of the encyclopedia whenever possible.--CitationAuditor (talk) 01:32, 13 January 2025 (UTC)

I just remembered seeing this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G83kjvcRhCg a very long time ago and figured you might be interested in Gʻafur Gʻulom, a famous Uzbek writer who was very supportive of Jewish human rights. ::Sorry to hear you are having computer problems. If you are interested in Ukraine, maybe you can write some articles about Crimean Tatars, who are Muslims in Ukraine who have been suffering a lot longer under Russian occupation than the rest of Ukraine. We really needs more people on that since so many very notable Crimean Tatars don't have articles and Russians are trying to erase every mention of them (and sadly few Ukrainian editors care at all, at least not enough to do anything about it). A little interesting fact about them is that the have have not one but two of their own Jewish communities; the Krymchaks and the Karaites AND have their own Romani communities (nobody's even sure how many types there are) too.--CitationAuditor (talk) 22:52, 20 March 2025 (UTC)

A Russian troll is renaming lots of Crimean Tatar articles you made to Russian spelling versions. For example they moved Abdulla Daĝcı to Abdulla Dagdzhi and they're doing it to every Crimean Tatar article they can find. Please revert and report them if you can (I'm not sure about the procedures for this). He is using accounts Erledigungs and Sojetz but they're clearly the same guy.--CitationAuditor (talk) 01:32, 30 April 2025 (UTC)

:@CitationAuditor Apologies for the late reply. Unfortunately, I'm not at all well-versed on reporting, and these would require manual reverts. Additionally, I'm clueless about this specific case, so I'd avoid wading in myself. That being said, I would recommend taking a look at WP:SPI and WP:ANB. Sorry I couldn't do more, but I hope this helps.
