Problem with your custom signature
You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.
The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext.
The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.
:Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
:# Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
:# Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
:# Remove anything in the {{int:yournick}} text box. (It might already be empty.)
:# Click the blue "{{int:Saveprefs}}" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "{{int:Restoreprefs}}" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
:Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
:# Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
:# Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
:# Click the blue "{{int:Saveprefs}}" button at the bottom of the page.
More information about custom signatures is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. Thank you. 18:03, 7 September 2020 (UTC)

:: I almost have no words. This would never happen in the German Wikipedia. This behaviour towards long experienced users is rude, and it is disrespectful towards the person described in the article. I guess you wouldn't do this if Deanna Morse was a man. I strongly encourage US and Canadian Wikipedia users and moderators to correct their policy. --Myriam Thyes (talk) 10:57, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
:::Hi Myriam, just saw your note here and wanted to respond as an editor who declined the draft. I'd like you to know that I'm neither American nor Canadian, and I'm a keen editor on biographies of women (I've created almost 600). I feel sure that I am applying the notability guidelines fairly here, as there isn't sufficient evidence (with reliable sourcing) to meet the notability criteria at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(people)#Creative_professionals I have also put some comments on the draft. I hope you are able to find some more objective sources to add to the article so it can be published. IMO it is neither rude nor disrespectful to follow guidelines in this way. Regards, MurielMary (talk) 11:29, 27 December 2020 (UTC)

Deanna Morse
I put Deanna Morse into article space today. It looked ready. Please feel free to expand with reliable sources. Best, Thriley (talk) 18:57, 31 March 2022 (UTC)
:MyriamThyes, if you have some connection to that person you are expected to disclose it – please see this guidance; you should also refrain from making any further edit to the page on her, and instead use the talk-page to request any change you think should be made. Thanks, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 19:44, 31 March 2022 (UTC)
::Thriley has just encouraged me to add sources, as you can see above. I live in Germany, I've never met Deanna Morse. She and her students once participated in my online Flash animation project Flag Metamorphoses (www.flag-metamorphoses.net), this is how I knew about her work. Please write in a respectful manner to other users. I'm not used to such leery behaviour in the German Wikipedia, it has only happened to me in the English version.
