Hey!
Excuse me, I know in the beginning I signed myself as user:mr.parks, but I want to change the name to user:Alastor Moody since I am not pleased with the name, Mr. Parks. If you want to help me to change my user into "Alastor Moody", I be happy to know. But please do not change it back to Mr.Parks. Alastor Moody 12:10, 28 May 2006 (PTC)
:Okay, so what I'm trying to say is that if you can help me change my username from"Mr. Parks" to "Alastor Moody". That's all. Alastor Moody 15:35, 29 May 2006 (PTC)

Sig
Hmmm, how did you do that thing with the date/time in your sig on my talk page? I didn't know you can modify the time part, or did you incorporate the current date/time template into your sig and just sign using '
:OK. How do you get the name of the month?, CURRENTMONTH gives a number, afaik. +Hexagon1 (t) 11:42, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Re: Tcatron
I agree. The thing is, I do actually think that he has the potential to become a great contributor, but I feel like I'm just going round in circles whenever I try to explain what is wrong with his edits. Extraordinary Machine 13:08, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
Commons account
From commons:Commons:Village_pump#Technical..._would_probably_need_a_steward_or_dev_to_help
I don't think it'd be very difficult to get that account as it has no edits and you already own that username on other project. Unused accounts are considered as lost on the single login system when a conflict happens. I don't think stewards can help you as they can only (un)set arbitrary user access, not deleting users. :meta:Steward You'd need a database administrator. Probably the fast step would be to ask it on bugzilla, although you may want to ask it in a more casual form, on [irc://irc.freenode.net/#wikimedia-tech irc] for example. Seeking Editor Review Commentary (If You Like)
Hi. In conjunction with my RfA (that you voted on), I have created an editor review, to give people a chance to comment as to ways in which I can branch out or alter my contributions to Wikipedia. An RfA seems to solely focus on how one's temperment and contributions relate to how they might handle administrative powers (and the consensus on that seems to be that I'm not quite ready); the editor review opens things up a little more to a larger focus, and I'd love to hear community feedback in the sense of that larger focus, too. If you feel you've already expressed yourself sufficiently when casting your vote, then by all means don't worry about it, but if any thoughts come to mind or if you'd like to expound upon any suggestions or commentary, it would be appreciated. In any case, I appreciated you taking the time to express your opinion on my RfA, and I thank you for that. — WCityMike (talk • contribs) 19:54, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
My rfa
The neverending chain of responses must be broken
(note: this may seem like a nonsensical subject but it really isn't) I've used the strikeout tag to strikeout most of my comments on the RFA (because I've been informed that comments shouldn't be removed on RFAs - if I'm wrong, I ask that you please do remove them). This was done against my better judgement, but I wanted this subject to be dropped quickly.
I hope that will bring a swift end to this matter. — Nathan (talk) 14:28, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
Additional comment: I made several attempts to do some damage control [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship/ILovePlankton&diff=56148757&oldid=56148675] [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship/ILovePlankton&diff=56149264&oldid=56148757] and removed a negative comment I made, as well as the struck-out comments. As I'm not sure of the rules regarding removing one's own comments from an RfA, I'll gracefully accept a warning (no matter how its worded) if this is considered vandalism. I'm sure you can understand my intentions - to remove comments that can serve no purpose other than to breed negative feelings. — Nathan (talk) 16:13, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Newspaper.
Hi, NSLE. suddenly, I'm so curious about your own page that shows Newspaper. Where did you find Wikipedia's newspaper? Because I want to read the news, issues that is in Wikipedia. Let's me know if you could explain in my discussion's page. Thanks anyways. Daniel5127, 04:37, 01 June 2006 (UTC)

NHC quotes
Might as well say this here. Yep, I have no problem with you adding stuff to that page - add anything you want. I might object if you deleted content though...--Nilfanion (talk) 17:10, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
:Yea I like it, two sorts of quotes really the ones which are inherently amusing like that one and the more dry ones giving the dodgy predictions. I'll have to look at the TDs sometime too... My favorite so far is Franklin #18 - I think he was describing the forecaster...;)--Nilfanion (talk) 17:38, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
Chanchu
I know you're a prolific contributor who's done a lot of good stuff on Wikipedia. So why this stubbornness with Macanese Patuá? If, say, Japan submitted a name, wouldn't you assume that it is from Japanese, the official language of Japan and the language of the vast majority of Japanese people? If the name actually does mean what it's supposed to mean in Japanese, wouldn't that simply be confirmation? When did Macau become so different?
I know this is tiring for everyone, and frankly I cannot believe that a simple edit on my part has bloated to such proportions... so please... I ask you of this, as a request from one Wikipedian to another... tell me what your reasoning is. -- ran (talk) 23:43, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

IP forgery?
I'm baffled as to what you mean. If you mean that I have a different IP each time I'm on the internet, then it's true, also my ISP is fairly large and controls many IP ranges. I do not use a proxy. I'm curious to know what you mean regardless of the RFA, which will probably fail. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 09:21, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
Removal of RfAs from WP:RFA
Just some advice; when you remove RfAs from WP:RFA [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship&diff=next&oldid=56461603], please close them properly [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship/Haham_hanuka_4&diff=prev&oldid=56491623] and list failed ones at Wikipedia:Unsuccessful adminship candidacies [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Unsuccessful_adminship_candidacies&diff=prev&oldid=56491746]. Thanks! --Durin 13:29, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
Barnstar reverts
More curious than anything else, I noticed you've reverted a number of barnstars awarded by Schoolhouseawarder (including one to me) and I was just wondering why? Pinkville 13:30, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

RE:WP:POINT
I never intended to make a point. I just saw those un-templified templates somewhere and put them into templates because they were humorous/fun. In no way did I mean to make a point. You have just misunderstood me. And you should know this: Can I get time in the squiqilly things to be EST?--Gangsta-Easter-Bunny 13:50, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
RFA
I'm confused with what just happened with my Rfa and Gangsta-Easter-Bunny. Can you explain it for me? Thanks, --D-Day What up? Am I cool, or what? 15:31, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
:Thank you for the explanation. I will just WP:AGF on GBE's part, and I apologize if this took up part of your time. --D-Day What up? Am I cool, or what? 19:14, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
[[User talk:Hexadisc]]
We seem to have agreed substantively on the issue raised at WP:AN. You noted, though, that anything sourced and verifiable should be included. While you are, as I noted as well, correct with respect to WP:BLP (with the caveat, of course, that the sourced and verifiable information ought to represent fairly and reasonably all revelant and notable points-of-view), I'm inclined to think that WP:NOT is relevant as well. That (to pick something at random) Jeff Bagwell wears a 7 3/4-sized baseball cap is verifiable, but it's neither particularly notable nor otherwise inextricable to the subject, such that we'd properly term it cruft. This applied, IMHO, to the article at hand because, though verifiable and sourced, the specific details of the subject's airport misadventures are surely crufty. In any event, though, as you say, Max and Hexa seem to have the relevant issues well in hand. Joe 06:28, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
User:SuperDeng
Thank you! :) I've been dealing with him for 6 months now. What aggravates me and has all along is that he just doesn't listen. Example: I told him...hey...if you disagree with the block, put the unblock template up and another admin will take a look. So he responds by arguing with me some more. Just impossible. Anyway. Thank you. --Woohookitty(meow) 10:48, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
:: Thank you from me too. I have the bad luck of sharing many article interests with this user, who made it unpleasant and nearly impossible to work productively on dozens of articles. DMorpheus 00:40, 4 June 2006 (UTC)

Storm of the month
Image:02WCHANCHU06.jpg Typhoon Chanchu was the first typhoon and first super typhoon of the 2006 Pacific typhoon season. Forming on May 9 over the open western Pacific Ocean, Chanchu moved over the Philippines on the 11th. There, it dropped heavy rainfall, causing mudslides, crop damage, and 41 deaths. It moved into the South China Sea, where it rapidly strengthened to a super typhoon on May 14, one of only two super typhoons recorded in the sea. It turned to the north, weakened, and struck the Fujian province of China as a minimal typhoon on the 17th. The typhoon flooded 192 houses, while heavy rainfall caused deadly mudslides. In China, Chanchu caused at least 25 deaths and $480 million in damage (2006 USD). Elsewhere on its path, strong waves from the typhoon sank eleven Vietnamese ships, killing at least 44 people. In Taiwan, heavy rainfall killed two people, while in Japan, severe waves killed one person and injured another.
