User talk:Omnechist
In memoriam of Actress Farrah Fawcett, Billy Mays, and Pop king Michael Jackson
Re:Favor
I can try to pull the audio for you. Oh, and your talk page is getting hefty long, would you like help archiving it? Scapler (talk) 23:56, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
:I would be happy to help, first I would move the current talk page contents to User talk:MidKnightHunter/archive1, then put a spiffy archive box on your talk page like I have! Does that sound good? Scapler (talk) 00:03, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
::De nada, mi amigo de Wikipedia, el enciclopedia libre! Ha, I shall speak other languages also! And while I cannot write it, I can read German adequately, so bitteschon! Scapler (talk) 00:19, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Archiving
How is that, nice and clean, like starting again...a talk page to breathe freely on. Scapler (talk) 00:24, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
:Very nice, you caught me, Greek is a language I have absolutely no understanding of! Scapler (talk) 00:27, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
::Oh, and if you ever need another archiving, I can perform it to a second archive page. Scapler (talk) 00:28, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Scream
I have isolated the scream you asked for, and have put it into an mp3 format. I just need a place to send it so that you can get it. Do you have an email or anything I can send it to? Scapler (talk) 02:38, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
:I cannot, it would be released under the GFDL then, and that would break so many copyright laws. Plus, WIkipedia is not a collection of photographs or media files. Scapler (talk) 15:00, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
::If you enter you e-mail address and click the box next to "enable e-mail from others" in Special:Preferences, I can send it to you through that. Scapler (talk) 15:03, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
I have uploaded it to megaupload, so you can download it if you follow this link and the instructions: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=EPJ1TJDL Scapler (talk) 17:26, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
:Which comment do you mean, and why would it violate anything? Scapler (talk) 17:38, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
::Where were you reading it? Scapler (talk) 19:09, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
:::Sorry I did not respond quickly, I saw Quantam of Solace and then went bowling. And no, I am afraid I do not Jedi Academy. Scapler (talk) 03:34, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

RE:less active?
This is all volunteer work, so no one will fault you if you don't have the time or desire to spend every waking hour editing. So no, it is not weird as there are no requirements to how much you should edit. Just edit as often as you're comfortable with. (Guyinblack25 talk 22:43, 6 December 2008 (UTC))

:Hey brother. Sorry you're bored. Go vote on some deletion discussion: wp: AfD or better yet go to wp: new page patrol and expand the page to 500 articles and see if you can find some that interest you. Peace my brother from another mother. ChildofMidnight (talk) 02:01, 24 December 2008 (UTC)

Christmas
Some good stuff, LittleBigPlanet, Mercenaries 2, Bioshock, a camera, and some other awesome stuff, how about you? Scapler (talk) 17:06, 28 December 2008 (UTC)
The internet is watching you
Sounds like a "cookie" issue. I think you can disallow cookies in your internet options settings, but then you won't be automatically signed in places and have to do it each time. ChildofMidnight (talk) 21:57, 5 January 2009 (UTC)
:What web browser are you using? Scapler (talk) 01:59, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
For Firefox on XP, you can access cookies by clicking on the "Tools" drop down, then opening up the options menu. From the options menu, click the "privacy" button. From there, you can delete all of your cookies by clicking the "clear" button under the cookies section, or you can choose to disallow them by unchecking the "Allow sites to set cookies" option. Scapler (talk) 00:12, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
:You can also set the cookies to ask you every time, under the "keep cookies" drop down under the privacy menu by specifying "ask me every time" or to have Firefox delete the cookies after every session by specifying "until I close Firefox". You can also disallow only Wikipedia from setting cookies by checking "allow sites to set cookies" and then specifying Wikipedia as an execption. I hope this all helps, and you are certainly welcome to ask if you have further questions! Scapler (talk) 00:15, 12 January 2009 (UTC)

Changing username
Hey MidKnightHunter. To change the name on your account, you need to go Wikipedia:Changing_username and add a request. The list of instructions should see you through - you'll need a name in mind that's not being used, and also a reason for the change. This can take a bit of time. You may also want to consider just changing your signature, so that you can sign your posts as any name but it will be redirected here, to MidKnightHunter. Either way. :) Let me know if you need any help. FlyingToaster 17:31, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
Re: changing name
Your edits and history will all be moved to your new name if you use the instructions on this page. FlyingToaster 14:43, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Please update your status with WP:VG
Dear WikiProject Video games member,
You are receiving this message because you have either :Category:WikiProject Video games members or User WPVG somewhere in your userspace and you have edited Wikipedia in recent months.
The Video games project has created a member list to provide a clearer picture of its active membership.
All members have currently been placed in the "Inactive" section by default. Please remove your username from the "Inactive" listing and place it under the "Active" listing if you plan on regularly:
:*Editing video game-related pages in the Article namespace
:*Participating in video game-related discussions in the Project namespace (WT:VG, WP:AfD, WP:GAN, etc.)
Ideally, members are encouraged to do both, but either one meets our criteria of inclusion. Members still listed inactive at the beginning of November 2009 may be removed. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.

Another gentle ping from WP:VG
Dear Omnechist,
You are receiving this message because either :Category:WikiProject Video games members or User WPVG is somewhere in your userspace, and you are currently listed in the "Unknown" section on the project's member list.
The member list is meant to provide a clearer picture of active membership. It is recommended that you update your status if you plan to regularly:
- Edit video game-related pages in the Article namespace
- Participate in video game-related discussions in the Project namespace (WT:VG, WP:AfD, WP:GAN, etc.)
Members listed in the "Unknown" section will be removed from the membership list and category at the end of January 2010. You may re-add yourself to the active list at any time. Thank you for your help, and we look forward to working with you.
