{{divbox|blue|3=Sources are interviews or brief mentions. S0091 (talk) 17:38, 21 May 2025 (UTC)}}
:Hi S0091. Thank you very much for the quick review of this submission.
:Wouldn't the national newspaper articles with Pichler's photos and story about the scandal of him flying home in the middle of a big tour be classified as a reliable and 3rd party source as it wasn't an interview with him, it was news?
:I realise IMDB links are unfortunately not considered reliable links so I only added those as 'external links'.
:He worked on multiple Hollywood feature films - Would it be better to try to find each film's official source of cast and crew list for mentions there rather than IMDB?
:Wouldn't a collection of mentions in music encyclopedias and similar reference books add up to notability?
:Or radio interviews?
:Or the fact that he has played with world famous musicians from The Clash, Rose Tattoo, One Way System etc and performed on tens of albums, singles, music videos etc also add to 'notability' qualification?
:I have a few other people's Alternative Oz Music Bios to add so I want to make sure I get all the right things for each person. :)
:Cheers.

:Hello again.
:I also note that Pichler meets these criteria as outlined in guidelines on the notability of music-related topics.
:1: Has had a single or album on any country's national music chart.
:2: Has received non-trivial coverage in independent reliable sources of an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one sovereign country.
:3: Has released two or more albums on a major record label or on one of the more important indie labels (i.e., an independent label with a history of more than a few years, and with a roster of performers, many of whom are independently notable).
:4: Is an ensemble that contains two or more independently notable musicians, or is a musician who has been a reasonably prominent member of two or more independently notable ensembles. This should be adapted appropriately for musical genre; for example, having performed two lead roles at major opera houses. Note that this criterion needs to be interpreted with caution, as there have been instances where this criterion was cited in a circular manner to create a self-fulfilling notability loop (e.g., musicians who were "notable" only for having been in two bands, of which one or both were "notable" only because those musicians had been in them.)
:5: Has become one of the most prominent representatives of a notable style or the most prominent of the local scene of a city; note that the subject must still meet all ordinary Wikipedia standards, including verifiability. Ozrockhistory (talk) 06:58, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

Scam
Hi Ozrockhistory, I saw your note on another editor's talk page regarding an email you received offering consulting services. It would be a great help if you would send a copy of the email to paid-en-wpwikipedia.org per WP:SCAM. S0091 (talk) 18:11, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
:Hi. will do! Thanks. It appears they have several domains to fake wiki editing services all over 'USA' linked to the same scammer or group of scammers. Ozrockhistory (talk) 05:51, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
::It's a Pakastani company named AbTach and they have hundreds, if not thousands, of websites offering various services. See [https://krebsonsecurity.com/2025/05/pakistani-firm-shipped-fentanyl-analogs-scams-to-us/ this] for some background and WP:List of paid editing companies#Abtach. And the email address copied over wrong - it's paid-en-wp@wikipedia.org. S0091 (talk) 14:25, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
:::Hi @S0091thought so - wondered why it bounced.
:::Thanks for the info.
:::I just feel bad for people who fall for it and also the editor who they are falsely claiming to be so I alerted him as soon as I got the email.
:::I only emailed the 'company' as I was looking for someone to help me create all in-line citations and make the page I'm editing the most wiki compliant as possible while I search and add more references for resubmission.
:::What a learning-curve wiki short-code is. Wil be handy for the other musicians and bands I want to enter after this surprisingly challenging submission.
:::Have a nice weekend.
