Page protection
Extending my response to your request on my Talk page, I don't understand your request for page protection in this case. Page Protection is not a way to freeze a particular page version - rather, it is an exceptional measure (and not one that a new user would normally invoke). :WP:RPP summarises thus: "Full protection is used to stop edit warring between multiple users or to prevent vandalism to high-risk templates; semi-protection and pending changes are usually used to prevent IP and new user vandalism (see the rough guide to semi-protection); and move protection is used to stop pagemove revert wars." The history of :Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie shows none of these characteristics, and in practical terms, if the page had already been protected, its impact would have been to prevent the edits by an IP on the 22nd-23rd and your own on the 25th, which doesn't seem your likely intention? File:Information.svg Hi PawPatroler! I noticed that you recently made an edit at :Western Maryland Scenic Railroad and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia: it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Tenshi! (Talk page) 19:42, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
File:Information orange.svg Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at :Pepper II. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Referentis (talk) 21:50, 28 May 2025 (UTC)
File:Information.svg Thank you for contributing to the article :Pepper II. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, wikis, personal websites, and websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight. These sources may express views that are widely acknowledged as pushing a particular point-of-view, sometimes even extremist, being promotional in nature, or relying heavily on rumors and personal opinions. One of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. If you require further assistance, please look at Help:Menu/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse. See WP:USERGENERATED for further details. Referentis (talk) 21:51, 28 May 2025 (UTC)

File:Information.svg Hi PawPatroler! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of :Soñadoras several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at {{TALKPAGENAME:Soñadoras}}, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. –Novem Linguae (talk) 21:49, 28 May 2025 (UTC)
User-generated sourcing
IMDB and GameFAQs are unreliable WP:USERGENERATED sources, IMDB per WP:IMDB and GameFAQs per WP:VG/RS. Please don't use them as sources in articles. Waxworker (talk) 15:52, 28 May 2025 (UTC)
:I second this. Please use reliable secondary sources such as newspapers and books. –Novem Linguae (talk) 18:10, 28 May 2025 (UTC)
::Please stop edit warring. Experienced editors are trying to let you know good ways to edit. You should follow our feedback instead of ignoring us. Please stop creating citations to IMDB. –Novem Linguae (talk) 21:53, 28 May 2025 (UTC)
Xiahou Dun
Hi PawPatroller. It looks like you disagreed with and reverted a recent edit I made over on the Xiahou Dun article in the Defence of Yan Province section. I've created a topic on that article's talk page explaining why I felt the edit was necessary. I'm hoping you can head over there and give some input on what you disagreed with in the edit so we can figure out something that works. Thank you! River Peasant (talk) 23:48, 28 May 2025 (UTC)
:PawPatroler, you have again reverted one of my edits on the Xiahou Dun article with the same copy-pasted "not an improvement" note without providing any actual explanation or input in the talk section. The only changes I made in that edit were adding three internal links and captializing one proper noun. I cannot for the life of me think of why this edit would've needed reverting. You need to explain yourself, please. Your reversions are clearly disruptive at this point. River Peasant (talk) 01:30, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
::I'm sorry! I was just reverting your edits, as I didn't think they were helpful. Can you forgive me? PawPatroler (talk) 01:32, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
:::That still is not an explanation. Please explain what is not helpful about adding internal links to locations mentioned in the article, or capitalizing a proper noun. Because those were those only changes I made in the edit you reverted. River Peasant (talk) 01:57, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
:::Just to add, for the record, I found River Peasant's edits helpful. PawPatroler, your revert put the Cao Cao linkage back in the wrong place, removed the Turban linkage, removed the links to two provinces. There was no need to revert what had been an effective administrative clean up that contained no errors and nor do the explanations you give help any of the users reading it understand the logic behind your revert. It is good you have moved on from you think they aren't improvements but it is still a lacklustre explanation.
:::It is great you are so eager PawPatroler, but you have been here a week and got into what seems to be multiple warnings of edit warring. This can lead to, as highlighted in the June 2025 comment link, a ban from editing at all if the admins find you have been disruptive. Maybe take a breath and consider reversions and edits with more care, that it needs to be beyond your personal preference? DongZhuo3kingdoms (talk) 07:24, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
Do not close move discussions
You are not in a position in this project to close move discussions, as you did with Henry Sheldon (educator). As it stands, you only fulfilled half of the request, leaving a mess to be cleaned up. It generally takes years for an editor to have enough experience to close discussions posted to official discussion boards. BD2412 T 03:01, 31 May 2025 (UTC)

Hey, I noticed you reverted my corrective change to the Combat Support Hospital article. Can I ask why and how to go about the correction? I'm new to Wikipedia editing; I saw an error and I corrected it. I really don't see the necessity of the reversion and I'd like to use this as an opportunity to learn more about the process.
Sincerely,
dabeek

= Hauenstein Brewing Company Edits =
Hi PawPatroler, this was likely a mistake on my part, my sincerest apologies. Usually I leave small edit summaries but I must have not on this one. Before when I was editing the Hauenstein Brewing Company page before it got published I was not able to save any of the progress, so I had to re-do a lot of the edits which never got saved once the page was published. I will include these from now on. Thanks. 108.59.60.232 (talk) 19:52, 4 June 2025 (UTC)

File:Nuvola apps important.svg Please stop. If you continue to move pages to bad titles contrary to naming conventions or consensus, as you did at :Wii U, you may be blocked from editing. Keep in mind, this is the third or fourth page move you've done in the past 24 hours that has been reverted. --ThomasO1989 (talk) 05:35, 2 June 2025 (UTC)

File:Information.svg I noticed that a message you recently left to Msmimiin may have been unduly harsh. Please remember not to bite the newcomers. If you see others making a common mistake, consider politely pointing out what they did wrong and showing them how to correct it. It may take some time, but it helps us retain new editors. [[WP:AN]]
Hello, PawPatroler,
You came across a User page that was a little promotional. This is VERY common. Sometimes these User pages are deleted as CSD U5s, other times we let them be. But why, on Earth, did you think that it needed the attention of the entire administrator community that you opened a complaint on AN? Patrollers come across pages like this all of the time, the editor had only made 2 edits, it would have been more appropriate if you had posted them a Welcome message and invitation to the Teahouse which is what I did. On a scale of 1 to 10 on urgency, this would have been a -50. Please do not open complaints on AN unless it's an urgent situation and, in that case, you should open it at WP:ANI, not WP:AN. This page didn't require for administrator attention.
If you have questions about my messages, I encourage you to bring them to Wikipedia:Teahouse where experienced editors can offer you a second opinion. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 04:59, 4 June 2025 (UTC)
:PawPatroler, I read your entire User page and you have a helluva lot of warning notices for a brand new editor who has only been active for about a week. This is more than some editors get after editing for 2 years. I would slow down NOW. I wouldn't normally warn a new editor about the chance of being blocked but you have made quite a lot of mistakes in a short period of time. Liz Read! Talk! 05:07, 4 June 2025 (UTC)

your DM about my editing to Cora Jade's page
I want to change her name to Elayna Black on the page name because since leaving WWE in May 2025 thats what she goes under now i also wanted to change a photo to an updated photo of her now in 2025 and a photo that actually is relevant since it's under her new name but i couldn't figure out how to change the actual page name and it wouldn't let me update the photo could you help? Pending-Changes Reviewer
I understand that my previous request was denied, but you should give me a second chance; I have welcome many new users to the Teahouse, and have just made an edit on Wikipedia:Pending changes/Testing/1. Also, I have gotten less warning over the following weeks. Pending-changes can help me understand new users, and welcome them to said teahouse. It is up to you on how you want to answer, but I highly recommend it. I've left a message here, so you can answer there as well.--PawPatroler (talk) 06:59, 14 June 2025 (UTC)
[[Gachas]]
His "content removal" on the article was explained, and the explanation was valid. I pointed this out, and then you reverted my edit... without explanation. I'm presuming your insistence on this is now an ego thing; it's not needed. Thank you. Swinub★ 17:25, 15 June 2025 (UTC)
:Your revert [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ella_Enchanted_(film)&diff=prev&oldid=1295132806 here] on the Ella Enchanted (film) article was also of an edit that was an improvement, despite your edit summary claiming that it was not. Hugh Dancy should not have been linked twice in the lead, and "fan convention" was more accurate. Looking through your talk page, you've been warned about this enough times in the past few weeks to take the cue to step back from reverts. Swinub★ 18:48, 15 June 2025 (UTC)
Final warning
Hello, I'm Serge, an Admin here on Wikipedia. I'm seeing a lot of complaints and warnings here, and I'm quite concerned that you don't really seem to be addressing them, or changing your conduct. Your most recent edits as of writing this, at Gachas, doesn't instill any confidence - the reverts don't make any sense, and lack common sense.
Final warning - any more reckless edits or disregarding of the warnings on this talk page, and your account will be temporarily blocked from editing. Please slow down, take more time to learn how the website works, and be more careful before doing knee-jerk reverts of others edits. Sergecross73 msg me 16:42, 17 June 2025 (UTC)
:Hello. Making sure you saw this, as you have not responded, but have proposed multiple rejected page protection requests on the same day, which doesn't make me think you're taking the time to slow down and learn how the website works as I requested above. Sergecross73 msg me 02:23, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
::Okay! I'll be more carefully with requests for page protections from now on. PawPatroler (talk) 02:25, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
:::Also, I will start to slow down from now on. PawPatroler (talk) 02:30, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
::::Thank you. Sergecross73 msg me 02:55, 25 June 2025 (UTC)
:::::I was about to block you for [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Requests_for_page_protection/Increase&diff=prev&oldid=1297255231 this edit], but I see you technically did it just prior to committing to stopping, so I won't. But its still concerning none the less - this request doesn't make any sense. Its rather clear you don't understand when its appropriate to protect pages, so please stop with the requests.
:::::If there's another rejected protection request, or another rejected pending changes request (3 rejected requests in 2 weeks is unacceptable) then your account will be temporarily blocked from editing. You are on the thinnest of ice. You need to be worrying about learning the basics of editing, not these more advanced sorts of things. Please spend your time doing things like learning WP:5P or completing the the WP:WIKIPEDIAADVENTURE. You need to focus on not getting blocked, not this advanced stuff.
