==Deputy PM==
Sorry, but you've lost me with [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Gatoclass&diff=425862511&oldid=425834927 this post]. For one thing, the article isn't mine, and for another, it's been moved to the queue already, so what exactly is the problem? Gatoclass (talk) 18:20, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
:I wasn't sure who to notify because once a DYK hook is in the queue, only an administrator can send it back to the suggestion page, correct? The hook for Vladimir Velichko, currently in Queue 5, says that he was the first First Deputy Prime Minister of the Soviet Union, when he was actually the last one. I would have fixed it myself, but I can't. Sorry if this was the wrong process; I'm new to this. Thanks for your help! PhantomPlugger (talk) 18:36, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
:: Are you getting confused with the first Deputy Premier? The article clearly states he was the first Deputy Prime Minister. Gatoclass (talk) 07:21, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
:::Right, his title in the article is First Deputy Prime Minister, which redirects to First Deputy Premier. Are you saying that those are two different positions? If so, then the hook is fine, but a new article needs to be written for First Deputy Prime Minister. (Which of course becomes a separate issue.) If not, however, the hook is incorrect and should state that he was the last First Deputy Prime Minister. PhantomPlugger (talk) 13:44, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
:::: I think it was redirected to the Deputy Premier article because it explained how the Deputy Premier position eventually morphed into the Deputy Prime Minister position. Ideally, of course, the latter should have its own article, but this is all a bit moot now that the article is long off the main page. Gatoclass (talk) 01:32, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
::::: Ah, okay, the article made that very confusing. Thanks for clearing that up. PhantomPlugger (talk) 13:42, 27 April 2011 (UTC)

For being the person brave enough to review 23 articles on Ottoman taxation that were languishing on DYK because no one else else wanted to tackle the DYK megahook, I award you the DYK medal. Cottage Home HD
Nice work on this article! I just discovered it while looking at the (short) list of NR-listed sites in Marion County that I've not yet photographed. Are you familiar with the Center Township, Marion County Interim Report? I've not checked its Cottage Home entry, but I know that it provides information on most or all NR-listed HDs in the township, as well as on non-NR-listed ones. Unfortunately, I've had to nominate the lead image for deletion, since it's a copyright violation: the Flickr page from which you took it is marked all-rights-reserved. However, I should be able to photograph the area for you (if you're not in the area to do it yourself), as I'm in Bloomington and go up to Indianapolis about twice a month. Nyttend (talk) 02:56, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
:Thanks! I am familiar with the Interim Report. I recently moved to Chicago, so I no longer have good access to such documents. If you have access, that would be great if you could add in any relevant info. As for the picture, long story short, I asked the owner of that picture for permission (and received it on a limited basis), but an explanation from User:Dudemanfellabra on my peer review request as to how proper permissions works alerted me to its improper status. I've been trying to get something worked out with the owner, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen, so it would have been deleted soon in all likelihood anyway. If you could get a picture to replace it, that would be great! The ideal shot, I think, would be from the even side of the 700 block of Dorman St, catching one or two of the Vonnegut & Bohn Doubles and the brick sidewalk. ---- There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons. In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate. ---- If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions here |
