Your submission at [[Wikipedia:Articles for creation|Articles for creation]]: [[Draft:Robert B. Beat|Robert B. Beat]] (April 9)

File:AFC-Logo_Decline.svgYour recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Hoary was:

{{divbox|gray|3=This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.|}} The comment the reviewer left was:

{{divbox|blue|3="Find a Grave" is unusable, and this is one of only two sources cited here that are available to me. The other (the National Register) has no commentary on or evaluation of Beat's work. If three citations have to be made of the same single page of a book whose title is as promising for this draft as The History & Development of Portland's Irvington Neighborhood, something seems very odd. And it's hard to believe that a magazine titled Merchandising Week would have anything deep about architecture. Certainly there's no sign of it here: "He is noted for building many homes": What kind(s) of homes? Did they rise above architectural mediocrity, and if so, how?}} Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.
