The comma does not belong in the table. If the community decided to make the table into a sortable one, it would not work. Please try to be understanding in this issue. - PeeJay 19:13, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

England national football team manager
Hi you recently edited the year Capello became england manager, he started in early january 2008 not 2007 when he was confirmed as the manager. hope you bear this in mind when you next edit the article thanks. Pathfinder2006 (talk) 23:58, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Football infobox stats
Hi there. When updating football player infobox stats, as you did with Cristiano Ronaldo, please remember to also update the pcupdate parameter. This shows the date on which the stats were last updated, and can be populated by typing five tildes in place of the existing value. If the stats are updated, but pcupdate is not, then it could be misleading for the reader. It is probably best to update the stats after the end of the game, once the appearance has been verified in reliable match reports. Thanks. --Jameboy (talk) 17:23, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
:Next to where it says "pcupdate = " (it is usually the last but one row of the infobox), delete the existing date (e.g. 18:30, 18 October 2008 (UTC)) and replace it with five consecutive tildes (~) with no spaces between them. When you save or preview the page you will see the current date and time has been substituted at the bottom of the infobox. "ntupdate" works in the same way, but for international apps. Regards, --Jameboy (talk) 13:12, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
Hey dude. Just a quick note to say, if you're going to update the stats in the infobox, can you also update the stats in the tables lower down the page? I noticed you just updated Ronaldo and Rooney's infoboxes, but the career stats tables below weren't done. It would be helpful if next time you'd do the whole lot in one go. – PeeJay 22:20, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

Ferguson stats
Shouldn't [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Alex_Ferguson&curid=43223&diff=284843716&oldid=284781883 that be a loss]? Sillyfolkboy (talk) 20:22, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
:That is very bizarre. So Milan won the Champions League in 2007 and didn't lose in 2005? How silly. Sillyfolkboy (talk) (edits) 21:12, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

Match reports
I just had a search through the news archive on the Man Utd website, mate. I filtered by the month of the match (January 2007) and from there it was pretty simple to find. – PeeJay 20:39, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
:Ah, I think I see why you were having trouble finding it. The title of the article is "United 2 Pompey 1", so it wouldn't have come up if you were searching for Portsmouth. – PeeJay 20:45, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
Season articles
The page could be semi-protected, which would mean that IP editors and those who have been registered for less than 3 days and made less than 10 edits wouldn't be able to edit it. However, I doubt that a request for semi-protection would be granted, given that the edits are made in good faith. Some would argue that it's better to have some content than no content, regardless of how crappy it is, but I think that it just makes the encyclopaedia look unprofessional if we leave shit edits in. – PeeJay 23:34, 1 February 2010 (UTC)
Fletcher goal time
I don't even know what to report any more. I distinctly remember that the goal time was given as 41:00 on Sky Sports HD1 because I remember thinking that we might have this exact problem. My thinking was that since the time was 41:00, that means that at least a fraction of the first second of the 42nd minute had elapsed, and therefore it should be reported as "Fletcher 42'". However, it may seem a little unintuitive to have a goal scored on 41:00 as a 42nd-minute goal, which I guess is why the BBC and many other media sources have written the shorthand as "Fletcher 41'". How confusing! – PeeJay 19:12, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
:By the way, I should point out that the score bar at the top of the picture during the game literally said "Goal time: 41:00", so it's not like I was watching the clock to see if it had ticked over before the ball crossed the line. – PeeJay 22:59, 19 August 2010 (UTC)

Level 11 side in the 2011–12 FA Cup
Hi, I was just wondering which teams in the extra preliminary round are at level 11 as I can't see any at a quick glance and don't want to trawl through them all. It's just I thought that being at level 10 was part of the application critera. Thanks. Delusion23 (talk) 19:18, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
Carling Cup table
I'm struggling to understand your rationale for deleting the table other than the fact you don't like it, so therefore it shouldn't be on the page. If you disagree, then you should be consistent and delete this too - if not then there I see no reason why the table can't be on the League Cup page. I think I am being entirely fair. Sources needed for Days of the Year pages
You're probably not aware of this change, but Days of the Year pages now require direct sources for additions. For details see the content guideline, the WikiProject Days of the Year style guide or the edit notice on any DOY page. Almost all new additions without references are now being reverted on-sight.
Please do not add new additions to these pages without direct sources as the burden to provide them is on the editor who adds or restores material to these pages.
