• As part of the project's New Year's Resolutions, there is an ongoing effort to decrease the number of stubs to 5%. As of April 11, we are at 7.62%, with 363 articles currently in :Category:Stub-Class Professional wrestling articles. It still would be greatly appreciated if members would expand, source and improve stub articles, and a list of well-known wrestlers and tag teams that should be fairly easy to improve is included on the stub article subpage.
• Based on the members list, there are currently 243 members participating in WikiProject Professional wrestling.

• 18 - Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) presents Lockdown
• 25 - World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) presents Extreme Rules

• At WrestleMania XXVI:
• John Cena won the WWE Championship by defeating Batista.
• Jack Swagger won the Money in the Bank ladder match.
• The Undertaker defeated Shawn Michaels in a "Streak vs. Career" match, forcing Michaels to retire.
• On March 29:
• It was reported that Consequences Creed and the Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags) had been released from their TNA contracts.
• Brooke Adams made her TNA debut on Impact! as Eric Bischoff's assistant, Ms. Tessmacher.
• Jack Swagger cashed in his Money in the Bank contract at the SmackDown taping on March 30 and defeated Chris Jericho to win the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time. The match aired on the April 2 episode of SmackDown.
• Christopher Daniels was released from his TNA contract on March 31.
• Chris Kanyon died on April 2 at the age of 40 due to a drug overdose in an apparent suicide.
• On April 3:
• Lance Cade was released from his WWE contract.
• At ROH's The Big Bang! pay-per-view:
• Christopher Daniels made his return to Ring of Honor (ROH).
• The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli) defeated the Briscoe Brothers (Mark and Jay) to win the ROH World Tag Team Championship for the second time.
• On April 5 on Impact!, Angelina Love won the TNA Women's Knockout Championship by defeating Tara, Velvet Sky, and Daffney, and opening the correct lockbox with the key she won as a result.

1. Please remember that fair use images and media can be only be used if no free equivalent is available or could be created. Fair use images uploaded when a free equivalent exists will be deleted.
2. If you come across an article that fails notability requirements, you can tag it for speedy deletion if the criteria apply, propose it for deletion, or nominate it at WP:AFD.
3. Trivia sections are discouraged in wikipedia articles. Information from such sections, if notable, should be merged into the main body of the article.
4. The lead section of an article should introduce the subject and summarize the entire article.
5. The Biographies of living persons policy should be strictly adhered to when adding to information to biography articles.

• Madison Eagles defeated MsChif on April 11 to win the Shimmer Championship.
• On April 12:
• Eve Torres won the WWE Divas Championship for the first time by defeating Maryse on Raw.
• TNA debuted a new television show, ReAction.
• It was reported that SmackDown will be moving to the Syfy channel in late 2010.
• On April 14:
• Wrestlicious announced a television deal with The Fight Network in Canada to air Wrestlicious Takedown, beginning in May.
• Gene Kiniski died at the age of 82 after a battle with cancer.
• It was reported that WWE had released Beverly Mullins from her contract.
• Bison Smith and Keith Walker won the GHC Tag Team Championship from Takeshi Rikioh and Muhammad Yone.
• On April 17:
• Jon Moxley won a "Florida Rumble" tournament to win the vacated FIP World Heavyweight Championship for the first time, by last defeating Roderick Strong. The championship was vacated by Davey Richards due to contractual issues in March.
• Tyler Veritas suffered a broken foot at an MBA event in South Philadelphia, and is expected to be rehabilitating the injury for up to six weeks.
• Cindy Rogers and Jana won the WSU Tag Team Championship by defeating Angel Orsini and Mercedes Martinez.
• LuFisto suffered a minor stroke shortly after a match, but is not expected to need time off.
• On April 18:
• Tigers Mask defeated Super Shisa to win the Dragon Gate Open the Brave Gate Championship.
• Máscara Año 2000, Jr. defeated El Canek to win the IWRG Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship.
• At Total Nonstop Action Wrestling's Lockdown pay-per-view:
• Doug Williams was stripped of the TNA X Division Championship due to no-showing the event because of a volcano eruption in Iceland, which disrupted flights in Europe.
• Frankie Kazarian went on to win the vacant X Division Championship by defeating Homicide and Shannon Moore in a three-way steel cage match.
• Madison Rayne won the TNA Women's Knockout Championship in a tag team steel cage match, making her the first person to hold the Knockouts Championship and the TNA Knockout Tag Team Championships simultanously.
• Rob Van Dam won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship on April 19 by defeating A.J. Styles on Impact!.
• On April 20:
• Adam Birch made his WWE return as Joey Mercury, losing a dark match to Shelton Benjamin prior to the SmackDown television tapings.
• Daffney suffered a stinger and a bruised sternum during a dark match prior to the Impact! tapings.
• Angelina Love partially tore her bicep muscle and suffered a complete ulnar collateral ligament tear at the Impact! tapings, and is expected to miss several weeks.
• Former Southwest Championship Wrestling announcer Steve Stack died after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
• Katsuji Adachi, better known as Mr. Hito, died in Calgary at the age of 67. His death was related to diabetes.
• On April 21:
• Prince Devitt and Ryusuke Taguchi were stripped of the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship.
• "Gorgeous" George Grant died at the age of 85.
• WWE announced the release of seven wrestlers from their contracts: Mickie James, Katie Lea, Shelton Benjamin, Slam Mater J, Jimmy Wang Yang, Kung Fu Naki, and Mike Knox on April 22.
