  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. [http://toolserver.org/~bjelleklang/pjirc/ Talk to us live], or edit this page, put {{tl|helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

    {{trout}}

    {{minnow}}

    Hmm, seems rather unsporty-like sportsmanship to whack a newcomer without explanation or identification! To learn is a noble ambition... to be whacked blindly with no direction for correcting one's misdeeds is to stumble about in the darkness... Am I missing something here?

    I've fixed the above link, to make it point to a place in your user area.

    Originally, you'd put /Flaming Gorge Regional Watershed Supply Project - if you had created that, it would have created an article in mainspace (the 'live' area) called /Flaming Gorge Regional Watershed Supply Project - and the article would have been swiftly deleted.

    Instead, you need to put User:Rompecabezas/Flaming Gorge Regional Watershed Supply Project, which is what I've changed it to.

    Please feel free to remove this message, as soon as you've 'got it'.

    Mediation

    :Hi! Thankyou very much for your interest! But to be honest I'm new at this myself, and I wouldn't have a clue how to formally open a mediation. I can look into it I guess, but I think maybe you should seek the guidance of an experienced mediator because I don't think I'd be able to be much help... I requested mediation on this thing months ago and you're the first to respond, so I'm definitely glad to hear someone's into helping out!!! {{User|PhilKnight}} and {{User|Xavexgoem}} are the two to contact in regards to the technics behind mediation. Give me a heads-up when you're ready to go and thanks again!!! Night w (talk) 14:37, 2 May 2009 (UTC)
