Spacing on MLB infobox
Please don't mess around with the spacing on MLB player infoboxes please. It's not necessary. Yankees10 17:03, 24 October 2024 (UTC)
:Apologies! I'd noticed you had been adjusting them after my edits. I had not been "messing around" with them; apparently any time I open an infobox in visual edits, there are some edits that happen automatically.
:For example, I did not intentionally make the top 14 lines of edits in this Matt Brash edit. [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Matt_Brash_(baseball)&diff=prev&oldid=1253095369 Matt Brash (baseball): Difference between revisions - Wikipedia] I just wanted to edit his stats year. Same with this Teoscar Hernandez edit. [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Teoscar_Hern%C3%A1ndez&diff=prev&oldid=1253116663 Teoscar Hernández: Difference between revisions - Wikipedia]
:If you know how to avoid these changes happening automatically, I'd be happy to abide by that. Sloopyploop (talk) 06:49, 25 October 2024 (UTC)

Concern about removing dead links
Hey there, I saw you've been removing dead links on articles. Unless these links are entirely unnecessary (for example, it's another syndicated article that's already cited), do not remove dead links per WP:LINKROT. The reasons to explain why you should not remove them are listed there, but ultimately it boils down to "we may find it again someday". I've been going around and attempting to rescue them, but cannot if there's no longer a link. Thank you for your contributions! Chew(V • T • E) 07:12, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
:Thank you. I am trying to locate the dead links. Generally I only remove them if they refer to statistics that are found elsewhere. Let me know if I'm being unhelpful in my edits. Sloopyploop (talk) 10:07, 12 January 2025 (UTC)
::All good! It's fine to delete them if unnecessary but if they do seem useful (like a more detailed article that isn't just citing stats), it might be useful to re-locate someday. If you need help finding something, feel free to let me know as well :) Chew(V • T • E) 21:32, 13 January 2025 (UTC)
