Director categories
Hello, Sprachraum,
Please do not empty groups of categories. If you believe categories should be deleted, tag the categories for Categories for Discussion (CFD) and put together a proposal for deletion at CFD where the situation can be discussed. Not only is this the correct way to handle large-scale deletions but if it is decided that the deletion should happen, a bot can change all of the film pages instead of you doing so manually.
Doing a mass removal of pages from categories in order that they empty and are deleted is called "emptying out of process" and is not the correct way to handle large changes in categorization. If you have questions or need help, you can go to WT:CFD. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 16:44, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
