Thanks!
Thanks for fixing that template! I made that edit then left the house. It was nice to see that someone had already fixed it. OhNoitsJamie Talk 03:18, 23 August 2020 (UTC)

Welcome to the tropical cyclone WikiProject! I'm always glad to see new members. I'm curious, what aspect of tropical cyclones are you most interested in? And follow-up, do you have any questions related to editing? I've been an editor for 15 years, and I know editing can be overwhelming, especially on big active pages, which is why I wanted to reach out. Happy editing! ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 03:45, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
: Hurricanehink, for the tropical cyclones, it's the beauty that these cyclones can pose, including the records, except for their destruction. Normally, I would keep track of the Atlantic Ocean hurricanes because those are the ones that I have to watch out for, especially this year. For me, right now, as of this message, I don't have any questions so far. But thanks for the warm welcome, Hurricanehink! Tfess up?or down? 04:24, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
Two different IP addresses with identical edits sound...suspicious
Thanks, TFESS I did NOT notice that, thanks for pointing it out!
It could be suspicious but it could also be someone with a bonded connection
It would be really nice if those wanting to make more than a couple of minor changes would make accounts for themselves. My hope is that welcoming them will help to encourage them to create an account.

Jordan Maron link
Hi
I saw what the bot said but since there were links to his other channels I thought that it was appropriate in that context. What is different about this one? Is it just that there are too many?
Sorry if these are dumb questions, I'm pretty new to editing Wikipedia as you can probably tell.
Qb42 (talk) 02:41, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
:According to the bot's message, there may be copyright issues with that kind of link. Because some Reddit stuff can possibly contain copyright or something of that nature (I think...), it could be a potential copyright violation. Potentially. Tfess up?or down? 02:46, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
Do people read these? Reply if so or if not so.
Yes, I read it. You wrote that you don't like the number 11 but you like Chopin's Étude Op. 25, No. 11 and that's a pretty good number. Levivich harass/hound 05:59, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
:I wanted to introduce a bit of irony, if it was really irony. Also, considering the fact that that etude is really hard, it...is a no for me even though I can play it (believe it or not!). Tfess up?or down? 06:09, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
A note about unblocks
Regarding your comment here about WP:REMOVE, that is only for currently-blocked editors, which at the time of your edit they were not. Primefac (talk) 20:03, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
:Yeah, I looked at WP:REMOVE a bit more closely and found that it was my mistake. In fact, I'll just do this: {{self-trout}} and {{facepalm}}. Tfess up?or down? 22:10, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

Reporting vs. tagging sockpuppets
Hi {{u|TFESS}}, if you suspect sockpuppetry, including logged-out editing of a blocked user, please report it at WP:SPI. Adding sockpuppetry tags to the IP's talk page(s) doesn't have an effect; the template is used after investigations. Thanks File:Face-smile.svg ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:02, 22 July 2021 (UTC)
:ToBeFree: I understand now...however, regarding this talk page, I couldn't find any WP:SPI regarding that user, yet it was still added. So I thought, "Maybe I do the same thing to those other IP addresses." Is this true, or am I missing something? Tfess up?or down? 20:05, 22 July 2021 (UTC)
::Ah. Yeah, the user was not blocked for sockpuppetry, nor have they ever been found to be sockpuppeteering. Creating a new investigation, for example by enabling Twinkle in your gadget preferences, then clicking "TW"->"ARV"->"Report type: Sockpuppeteer" on the master's talk page is usually a quick and helpful approach. Do make sure to provide evidence in form of diff links. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:19, 22 July 2021 (UTC)
:::Thank you!! I haven't used Twinkle until now, so...I'm getting there...Tfess up?or down? 20:22, 22 July 2021 (UTC)
