Editing when there is a conflict of interest
Improvements to the article Wairere Boulders are welcome, but in this case there is a concern because the edits are from a username that implies they represent the business that operates the attraction. Wikipedia strives to avoid editing by people with a conflict of interest. See: WP:Conflict of interest. Further, the changes that have been made are not supported by any citations. A key principle of Wikipedia is that it does not rely upon statements that are unsupported. Rather, the content of the article should be supported by reference to independent and reliable published sources. See: WP:Verifiability. I will review the recent changes again, and may remove content that is either unsourced or promotional. If you are able to provide citations of independent sources, or wish to suggest further improvements, please add these suggestions to the article talk page Talk:Wairere Boulders. Another independent editor can then review and update the article as appropriate. If you have any queries, please get back to me. _Marshelec (talk) 00:30, 1 February 2025 (UTC)

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable, regardless of the username that you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid or compensated in any way, you must disclose who is paying you to edit here. You may also read our FAQ for article subjects.
