Design and development
The engine is a turbocharged, four-cylinder four-stroke, in-line, {{convert|1186|cc|cuin|1|abbr=on}} displacement, 16 valve, air-cooled, fuel injected motorcycle conversion, petrol engine design, with a mechanical gearbox reduction drive with a reduction ratio of 2.55:1. It employs electronic ignition and produces {{convert|160|hp|kW|0|abbr=on}} at 7000 rpm.
