Scott won the 1935 Junior Wimbledon Championship and competed in the 1936, 1937, 1938 and 1939 Championships, advancing to the fourth round of the 1937 mixed competition and again in the 1939 singles competition.{{cite web | url=http://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/scores/draws/archive/players/9be0c607-74bf-45d3-a105-665efbdaadbb/index.html | title=Players Archive | publisher=The Championships, Wimbledon | access-date=12 January 2014}} She was part of the British team that competed in the 1939 Wightman Cup.

In 1986, in recognition of her contributions to the sport, she was granted a Distinguished Service Award by the United States Professional Tennis Association.
