Valsamoggia (Bolognese: {{lang|egl|Valsamûz}}) is a comune in the Metropolitan City of Bologna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. The frazione of Zappolino in the Middle Ages was the location of a battle between the communes of Modena and Bologna.
