Vatnsnes ({{IPA|is|ˈvasːˌnɛːs}}) is a peninsula jutting into Húnaflói in northern Iceland.{{Cite web|url=https://guidetoiceland.is/travel-iceland/drive/vatnsnes|title=Vatnsnes|website=Guide to Iceland|language=en|access-date=2019-03-25}} It is surrounded by waters of Miðfjörður on the west and Húnafjörður {{IPA|is|ˈhuːnaˌfjœrðʏr̥|}} on the east. It is home to one of the largest seal colonies in Iceland,{{Cite web|url=https://guidetoiceland.is/connect-with-locals/jon/vatnsnes-peninsula-in-north-part-of-iceland|title=Vatnsnes peninsula in North Iceland|date=2015-08-12|website=Guide to Iceland|language=en|access-date=2019-03-25}} among others at Hindisvík {{IPA|is|ˈhɪntɪsˌviːk|}} and Ósar {{IPA|is|ˈouːsar̥|}}.
