Vectius is a monotypic genus of South American flat spiders containing the single species, Vectius niger. It was first described by Eugène Simon in 1897,{{cite book|last=Simon|first=E|year=1897|title=Histoire naturelle des araignées|doi=10.5962/bhl.title.51973}} and has only been found in Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina.{{cite journal|title=Gen.
