Vesical arteries
Vesical arteries are variable in number. They supply the bladder and terminal ureter. The two most prominent are the superior vesical artery and the inferior vesical artery.{{cite journal | vauthors = Andersson KE, Boedtkjer DB, Forman A | title = The link between vascular dysfunction, bladder ischemia, and aging bladder dysfunction | journal = Therapeutic Advances in Urology | volume = 9 | issue = 1 | pages = 11–27 | date = January 2017 | pmid = 28042309 | pmc = 5167073 | doi = 10.1177/1756287216675778 }} The superior vesical artery comes off of the internal iliac artery and sometimes the umbilical artery.{{cite journal | vauthors = Chantalat E, Merigot O, Chaynes P, Lauwers F, Delchier MC, Rimailho J | title = Radiological anatomical study of the origin of the uterine artery | journal = Surgical and Radiologic Anatomy | volume = 36 | issue = 10 | pages = 1093–1099 | date = December 2014 | pmid = 24052200 | doi = 10.1007/s00276-013-1207-0 | s2cid = 30449323 }} The inferior vesical artery comes off of the internal iliac artery.{{cite journal | vauthors = Shehata R | title = The arterial supply of the urinary bladder | language = english | journal = Acta Anatomica | volume = 96 | issue = 1 | pages = 128–134 | date = 1976 | pmid = 973536 | doi = 10.1159/000144666 }}{{cite journal | vauthors = Liapis K, Tasis N, Tsouknidas I, Tsakotos G, Skandalakis P, Vlasis K, Filippou D | title = Anatomic variations of the Uterine Artery.
