Vincent B. Jackson (born Vincent Noel Jackson, 1 March 1966) is an Irish independent politician who has served as a Dublin City Councillor since May 1991. He previously served as Lord Mayor of Dublin from June 2006 to June 2007.{{ElectionsIreland |name=Vincent Jackson |id=4007 |access-date=28 May 2011}}
One of 10 children,{{Cite web |last=O'Flaherty |first=Aideen |date=2 December 2022|title=Local Faces: Paddy Jackson |url=https://www.echo.ie/local-faces-paddy-jackson/ |access-date=11 June 2024|website=Echo.ie |language=en}} he was originally a carpenter by profession and became involved with a variety of community and youth projects in Ballyfermot in Dublin. Prior to standing in the 1991 local elections, he changed his middle name to B, which stood for Ballyfermot.{{cite web|url=https://www.daughtersofcharity.ie/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/New-Beginnings-Dec-21c-anne.pdf|title=Interview with Councillor Vincent Jackson|work=Daughters of Charity|date=January 2022|access-date=28 August 2024}} He was successful in this election and was elected to Dublin City Council representing the Ballyfermot local electoral area. He was re-elected at the 1999, 2004 and 2009 elections. He unsuccessfully stood for Dáil Éireann at the 1992, 1997 and 2002 general elections.
