Violet Millicent Pinckney (11 March 1871 – 13 March 1955) was an English tennis player.{{cite web|url=https://www.olympedia.org/athletes/65 |title=Violet Pinckney |work=Olympedia |access-date=12 April 2021}} Pinckney was born at Alderbury, Wiltshire, in 1871 to Major William Pinckney and his wife Frances Charlotte Everett.{{cite web|url=http://www.john-pinckney.co.uk/family/g0/p138.htm|title=The Pinckney Family Tree - Violet Millicent Pinckney|website=John-pinckney.co.uk|access-date=3 December 2018}} In 1903 she won the German Championships. Methuen & Co. Ltd., London She competed in 12 editions of the Wimbledon Championships between 1903 and 1925.
