The Virginia Landmarks Register (VLR) is a list of historic properties in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The state's official list of important historic sites, it was created in 1965,{{Cite web |title=Historic Registers |url=https://www.dhr.virginia.gov/programs/historic-registers/ |access-date=2024-05-31 |website=DHR |language=en-US}} by the General Assembly in the Code of Virginia. The Register serves the same purpose as the National Register of Historic Places. The Virginia Landmarks Register is maintained by the Virginia Department of Historic Resources.
