Career

In 1973, he was part of the Soviet team that secured the bronze medal at the 1973 Speedway World Team Cup.{{cite web|url=http://www.internationalspeedway.co.uk/wtc73.htm|title=1973 WORLD TEAM CUP|website=International Speedway|access-date=6 April 2024}}

After finishing his sports career, he became the coach of the USSR national speedway team and was a member of the track commission of the national motorcycle association.
