The Vocabulary of Interlinked Datasets (VoID) is an RDF vocabulary, and a set of instructions, that enables the discovery and usage of linked data sets.{{cite web|title=Describing Linked Datasets with the VoID Vocabulary|url=https://www.w3.org/TR/void/|website=www.w3.org|publisher=W3C|access-date=22 September 2017}} A linked dataset is a collection of data, published and maintained by a single provider, available as RDF on the Web, where at least some of the resources in the dataset are identified by dereferencable URIs. VoID is used to provide metadata on RDF datasets to facilitate query processing on a graph of interlinked datasets in the semantic web.{{cite web|last1=Akar|first1=Ziya|last2=Halaç|first2=Tayfun Gökmen|last3=Dikenelli|first3=Oguz|last4=Ekinci|first4=Erdem Eser|title=Querying the Web of Interlinked Datasets using VOID Descriptions|url=http://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/similar?doi=10.1.1.357.4507&type=ab|website=CiteSeer|publisher=Linked Data on the Web (LDOW2012)|access-date=22 September 2017}}
