The Vodla ({{Langx|ru|Водла}}, {{Langx|fi|Vodlajoki}}) is a river in the south-east of Republic of Karelia, Russia. The town of Pudozh is located along Vodla. The river is formed at the confluence of the rivers Sukhaya Vodla and Vama, two outflows of the Lake Vodlozero, a large freshwater lake in the southeastern part of Karelia.{{GSEn|005751|Водла}} It is {{convert|149|km}} long, and has a drainage basin of {{convert|13700|km2}}.{{GVR|150832|Река ВОДЛА}} After rising in Lake Vodlozero, the river flows south before turning west into Lake Onega, Europe's second largest lake. From there, the 224-kilometer river Svir connects Lake Onega with Lake Ladoga. The Vodla's water is soft and humic.{{cite book|last=Tockner|first=Klement|title=Rivers of Europe|date=31 January 2009|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=GDmX5XKkQCcC&dq=Vodla+River&pg=PT1059|publisher=Academic Press|isbn=9780080919089|access-date=11 March 2013|display-authors=etal}}
