Christian Arceo (born December 1, 1990), professionally known as Vybe Beatz,{{cite web|title=Christian Arceo|url=http://www.sntmag.com/interviews/our-latest-interview-with-multi-talented-producer-christian-arceo/|website=SNT Magazine|accessdate=2017-01-17}} is an American record producer and sound designer. He gained recognition on SoundClick in 2009 with nearly 300 million plays,{{cite web|title=Vybe Beatz on SoundClick|url=https://www.soundclick.com/artist/default.cfm?bandID=766370|website=Soundclick|accessdate=2023-05-19}} and has since influenced today's modern hip hop and trap music. Vybe has collaborated with notable artists and producers including Roscoe Dash, Travis Porter, Gunna, Young Thug, Lil Baby, Offset, Metro Boomin, and D-Block Europe.

Early life

When Arceo was 13, he started downloading software programs off of the very popular limewire, which is how he found the first Digital Audio WorkStation (DAW) Sony Acid,{{cite web|url=http://www.crazypellas.net/cms/interview-with-vybe-813/|title=**Interview with Vybe (Influences)|publisher=Crazy Pellas|date=2017-01-17|accessdate=2017-01-17}} because he was very intrigued about composing music after he had started, he did some research on other DAW's and came across Fl Studio. He liked working on this so much that it would keep him up all day and night, and even after school he couldn't wait to create music.

Career

Vybe was one of the first musicians to reach over 200 million plays on soundclick.{{cite web|url=http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=766370/|title=**Soundclick|publisher=|date=2009-06-20|accessdate=2017-01-17}} and achieved mainstream success by producing the song "All The Way Turnt Up" by Roscoe Dash and Soulja Boy, which debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at #100, peaked at #46, and reached #18 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. A controversy started around this song once another rap group Travis Porter recorded an alternate version to this song using the production made by Vybe,{{cite magazine|url=https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/roscoe-dash-reclaims-turnt-up-preps-debut-album-958585/|title=**Roscoe Dash details All The Way Turnt Up & Travis Porter|magazine=Billboard|date=2010-04-16|accessdate=2023-05-19}} and did not feature Dash as the main artist / writer. Because of this, Dash re-recorded the song, and even had another producer K.E. on the Track re-produce the instrumental, and Dash featured this as his single for his debut album with interscope records. Afterwards he worked independently with various artists and producers before relocating to Los Angeles in 2017.

In 2018, Vybe made an appearance on Young Thug's album Slime Language, producing the track "Scoliosis", featuring Gunna and Lil Duke. which debuted at #8 on the US Billboard 200.

In February 2019, Vybe produced D-Block Europe's "Kitchen Kings", which peaked at #16 on the UK Albums Chart, while the overall album reached #2 with "Kitchen Kings" as the lead single.{{cite web|url=https://www.officialcharts.com/artist/54297/d-block-europe/|title=**D-Block Europe Charts|website=Official Charts |publisher=|date=2019-05-16|accessdate=2023-05-19}}
