Mr. Robin was a local businessman who donated money to philanthropic causes. The only source we have is an obituary from the Chicago Tribune. One obituary does not seem to be enough. I search for additional sources and was only able to find another death notice from the family and that was about it. John Pack Lambert (talk) 17:55, 27 January 2022 (UTC)

• Delete Several references to a Cognac brand, but struggled to see significant references. Chumpih ^t 19:25, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
• Delete It seems odd but I am failing to find anything written about him. There are some works at the Chicago Art Institute that were donated by him, e.g. [https://www.artic.edu/artworks/185186/animal] and a mention in the abbreviated contents of a [https://www.artic.edu/press/press-releases/47/press-releases-from-1985 press release]. Someone wrote a biography of him related to Roosevelt University [http://www.worldcat.org/oclc/51252816] but it seems to have been a local vanity type publication, with no publisher named. He clearly was quite wealthy and generous, and I expected to find more. If someone with different access comes up with sources I could change my !vote. Lamona (talk) 04:47, 1 February 2022 (UTC)
