Previously nominated in the 48-article bundle at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fidel Vargas, closed as a procedural keep due to the bundle's size.

Most of the secondary sources are all fairly WP:ROTM for any local politician and not enough to establish WP:NOTABILITY or significant coverage per WP:POLITICIAN. • Comment He appears to have some sources beyond the early 2010s. [https://www.npr.org/2006/03/29/5308397/town-declares-itself-a-sanctuary-for-illegal-immigrants He was interviewed by NPR in 2006].
