WP:Articles for deletion/United Nations in popular culture (2nd nomination)

The result was delete. The "keep" argument is that the topic is notable. The "delete" side does not contest that, but argues that the current content fails core content policies (WP:V, WP:IINFO) as well as the guideline MOS:POPCULT, to such an extent that a total rewrite would be needed (WP:TNT). These arguments are not only in the majority, but also stronger. Notability is a necessary, but not sufficient criterium for inclusion, and compliance with an inclusion guideline does not compensate for noncompliance with core policies. This amounts to rough consensus for deletion. But the article can (and should) be recreated in a policy- and MOS-compliant manner (i.e., well-sourced prose instead of a random accumulation of appearances of the UN in popular media).
