=Plans=

  1. To educate OSU students, faculty, and staff and local residents about Wikimedia projects, with the ultimate goal of improving information literacy skills.
  2. To write articles that fill gaps about history in the Pacific Northwest (fulfilling our mission as a land-grant university).
  3. To illustrate articles with images from Special Collections at OSU Libraries. This initiative began in 2009 when OSU became the first university to join Flickr Commons in an effort to freely share our photos with a wide audience; since then, that content has been harvested by Wiki Commons and used in a variety of projects.
