1. Add {{WikiProject Beer|class=|importance=}} to the talkpage of a beer related article.
2. If the {{tl|WikiProject Beer}} tag is already in place, click Edit and add |class=|importance= to the tag.
3. "Class" is the quality of the article, ranging from stub to Featured Article status.
4. "Importance" is how significant the article is to the beer topic, ranging from low to top.
