Welcome to the assessment department of the Beer WikiProject! This department focuses on assessing the quality of Wikipedia's Beer related articles. While much of the work is done in conjunction with the WP:1.0 program, the article ratings are also used within the project itself to aid in recognizing excellent contributions and identifying topics in need of further work.
The ratings are done in a distributed fashion through parameters in the {{tl|Beer}} project banner; this causes the articles to be placed in the appropriate sub-categories of :Category:Beer articles by quality and :Category:Beer articles by importance, which serves as the foundation for an automatically generated worklist.
Instructions
- Add
{{WikiProject Beer|class=|importance=}} to the talkpage of a beer related article. - If the {{tl|WikiProject Beer}} tag is already in place, click Edit and add |class=|importance= to the tag.
- "Class" is the quality of the article, ranging from stub to Featured Article status.
- "Importance" is how significant the article is to the beer topic, ranging from low to top.
