Aims
- To improve all Wikipedia articles that are concerned with Derbyshire, including its history, geography, ecology, people, buildings and notable businesses,
- To allocate all relevant articles to the :Category:Derbyshire or one of its subcategories, and assessed for both importance and quality.
- Increase the number of members of the project to ensure we can cover a wide range of topics,
- Continue to get several Did You Know?s on the Main Page. (Four authors so far!)
Specific targets:

Assessment and progress of articles
Below is a bot generated table of the assessment process of WikiProject Derbyshire supported articles. See also Wikipedia:WikiProject Derbyshire/Assessment. The stats are generated automatically every 2–3 days, but they can be updated manually [http://toolserver.org/~enwp10/bin/update.fcgi?projectselect=Derbyshire&project=Derbyshire here].
You may wish to use this chart to identify articles to improve. You can have the greatest impact by focussing on short (Stub) articles of the highest importance, as these are often the easiest to improve, whilst likely to be of interest to others. Alternatively, you could find Top priority articles and see how you could enhance these. Any article appearing in the 'Unassessed' row would benefit from a quality and importance rating if you feel confident to do this.

|align=center|As at January 2020 we had assessed 100% of all articles flagged a Derbyshire project banner - that's 2,674 pages! {| style="border: 1px solid black" cellspacing=1 width=50% height=15x align=center |align=center width=98% style=background:#00A550| |align=center width=2% style=background:#FF0000| |
