Waarland (West Frisian: ´t Waarland) is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Schagen, and lies about 6 km north of Heerhugowaard.

The village was first mentioned in 1665 as "De Waedt Polder", and originally meant "polder enclosed by waterways".{{cite web|url=https://etymologiebank.nl/trefwoord/waarland |title=Waarland - (geografische naam) |website=Etymologiebank |access-date=1 May 2022 |language=nl}} The polder mill Waarland was built around 1532. It was in service until 1949 when a pumping station was installed.
