Wakefieldite-(Ce) ({{chem2|CeVO4}}) is the cerium analogue of the uncommon rare-earth element vanadate mineral Wakefieldite. It is a member of the xenotime group.

Wakefieldite-(Ce) was first described in 1977.{{Cite journal |last1=Deliens |first1=Michel |last2=Piret |first2=Paul |date=1997 |title=La kusuïte, (Ce3+, Pb2+, Pb4+) VO4, nouveau minéral |journal=Bulletin de la Société Française de Minéralogie et de Cristallographie |language=fr |volume=100 |pages=39–41|doi=10.3406/bulmi.1977.7116 }} It was initially given the name kusuïte for its type locality in the Kusu deposit, {{convert|85|km|abbr=on}} SW of Kinshasa, Zaire. In 1987 it was renamed as the Ce analog of wakefieldite-Y.Handbook of Mineralogy, [http://rruff.geo.arizona.edu/doclib/hom/wakefielditece.pdf Wakefieldite-(Ce)].
