=Filming=

Production of the pilot began in March 2020, but production was shut down after a single day of filming due to the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Using the footage that had been filmed, a ten-minute presentation was created and was used to sell the series to Fox and secure a series order.{{cite web|url=https://deadline.com/2020/03/this-country-the-lost-boys-last-broadcast-pilots-in-production-shut-down-coronavirus-1202884984/|title=This Country & The Lost Boys: Last Broadcast Pilots In Production Shut Down Over Coronavirus|work=Deadline Hollywood|last=Andreeva|first=Nellie|date=March 16, 2020|access-date=April 21, 2022|archive-date=April 16, 2022|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20220416090025/https://deadline.com/2020/03/this-country-the-lost-boys-last-broadcast-pilots-in-production-shut-down-coronavirus-1202884984/|url-status=live}}{{cite web|url=https://deadline.com/2022/03/welcome-to-flatch-team-fox-comedy-binge-1234977255/|title=Welcome To Flatch Team Hot On Binge Release Of Fox Docu-Comedy – SXSW|work=Deadline Hollywood|last=White|first=Peter|date=March 13, 2022|access-date=April 21, 2022|archive-date=April 16, 2022|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20220416090022/https://deadline.com/2022/03/welcome-to-flatch-team-fox-comedy-binge-1234977255/|url-status=live}} In December 2020, it was reported that filming had commenced on the episode order.
